Watermelon Summer

This outfit reminds me of one I had when I was around four or five years old with a watermelon appliqué on the little top. I remember it being one of my favorites, probably because it had pockets. Can you believe this dress was on sale for only $20? It even came with the bow belt, which I originally thought I would replace with something a little less preppy, but ended up loving. I think it's a great dupe for Kate Spade. 

When we were trying to take these photos after church on Sunday it kept raining on and off while the sun was still shining in true southern summer style, so I decided to just use my umbrella as a prop. I thought it almost looked like the seeds of a watermelon.
